Calendaring & Scheduling
We need your help in keeping our parish calendar current!! The parish staff works diligently to keep
us informed of parish events and scheduled room space. Please call Sharon
(816-436-0880, ext 210) as you are planning an event, as well as when you need to change meeting times or cancel an event.
As you plan an event, think tentative until you have cleared the date and place with Sharon and the other staff,
and before you publicize the day, date and time. With so many activities taking place each week,
your cooperation in helping our calendar be as accurate as possible and avoid conflicts is greatly appreciated. Many thanks!

Expand Your Legacy
The Expand Your Legacy team members have developed a charitable planned giving program that allows you to "expand
your legacy" and provide for future generations of our wonderful parish. We desire to see it continue strongly,
too. Expand Your Legacy works to educate parishioners about living wills and advanced health are directives, wills, trusts,
life insurance, charitable gift annuity or estate planning. Members are appointed.
Stewardship
St. Charles Parish is committed to stewardship as a way of life. It is our way to express
gratitude to God for our many blessings, and it is a faith statement of trust in a God
whose generosity will always surpass our own. Every member is asked to tithe, which
consists of 10% of one's earnings. The recommended distribution is 6% to the parish
community, 1% to the diocese through the Bishop's Annual Appeal - Together We Can,
and 3% to charities of your choice.
Stewardship is also expressed in the sharing of our gifts, talents and time. Shared Ministry
is the visible expression of stewardship at St. Charles.
